about the artist

Born and raised on the serene and rugged shores of Cortes Island, I have always been deeply connected to the natural world. The island’s untamed forests, rocky beaches, and ever-changing ocean have shaped my artistic vision, instilling in me a profound appreciation for the interplay between nature and human creativity.

My journey as an artist began at an early age, inspired by the raw beauty of the Pacific Northwest. This passion led me to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree, where I explored a variety of artistic disciplines, honing my skills and developing a perspective that blends organic forms with structured design.

My love for nature and design ultimately guided me toward architecture, where I found the perfect synthesis of art, function, and environment. Earning a Master’s in Architecture at the Uniersity of Calgary allowed me to channel my artistic expression into spaces that honor both human experience and the natural landscapes that inspire me.

I work at blending human narritives with the timeless rythems of canada's wild landscapes. Whether through painting, sculpture, or architectural design, I seek to create pieces that evoke a sense of place, connection, and wonder—an homage to the landscapes that have shaped me.
